"Paula Deen These are the Best cookies ever!!!"

Today is my friends birthday and I am sending her a special surprise.....
This Purse cookie jar, it is just to adorable.........Don't you think??...........And in the cookie jar I have made Paula Deen's Chocolate Gooey Butter cookies............This cookie's will delight anyone...........!!!! They are so moist and gooey and full of chocolate......You will not be able to eat just one, Honest!!!!

Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies
1 8-oz brick cream cheese, room temp
1 stick of butter, room temp
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (18-ounce) box moist chocolate cake mix
Powder sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350
In a large bowl with an electric mixer, cream the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Beat in the egg. Then beat in vanilla extract. Beat in the cake mix. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours to firm up so that you can roll the batter into balls. Roll the chilled batter into tablespoon sized balls and then roll them in powder sugar. Place on a ungreased cookie sheet, 2 in. Apart. Bake 12 minutes. The cookies will remain soft and "gooey"
Cool completely and sprinkle with more powder sugar, if desired.
"One of the best cookies I have ever eaten!

Angeleyes, Thanks for visiting my blog..........Most of the cupcake papers I use come from Mail order sources......I leave in a rural area of Nevada close to Lake Tahoe and when I have been in Vegas don't remember any good places for fancy cup linings........Surfas is the place to go when in the LA area.......it has every thing a cook or baker could dream to have........Have a wonderful and safe trip.

One of my favorite mail order sources is the Confectionery House in New York

Hi Lo.........Oh how I miss those days of baking for my son when he was in Kindergarten.....I loved being room mom. Any way I would go to www.Hersheys.com and click on the Trick or Trick.com, it is so full of recipes and ideas.......I spend alot of time just looking around and be sure the sound is on, on your computer, your daughter and you will have lots of fun together, just checking it out. Also brightideas.com is a good source as well.
Happy Halloween
